The most commonly used composite steel gratings are made of G323/40/100 as the base plate. The pattern steel plates are typically 3mm thick, but can also be 4mm, 5mm, or 6mm thick.
The installation method of composite steel gratings:
1.Directly weld the steel grating or step plate to the supporting steel structure, and paint the welding area with two coats of zinc-rich powder paint.
2.Use a dedicated installation clamp for steel gratings. This installation method does not damage the zinc coating and is easy to disassemble. Each installation clamp includes an upper clamp, a lower clamp, a M8 round head bolt, and a nut.
3.Depending on the needs, various fastening methods such as stainless steel installation clamps or bolt connections can be provided.
4.The installation gap for steel gratings is typically 100mm.
5.During installation, it is essential to ensure that the installation is secure and reliable. Regular inspection should be conducted to prevent loosening or falling of the installation clamps. Steel gratings near vibrating areas should be welded or reinforced with rubber pads.
